Square Enix Announces Grandia III for PS2

Square Enix has announced Grandia III for PlayStation 2. Just like the previous three installments of the popular RPG series, this newest addition will be developed by GameArts. The game's character designer will be You Yoshinari and directed by series veteran Hidenobu Takahashi. In the game, movement will be similar to Final Fantasy XI. Furthermore, GameArts is trying to ensure, that players won't feel any load times, when the game switches from field to battle map. So far three characters by the names of Yuuki, Alfina and Emelius have been confirmed to make appearances in the game.Grandia III will be available in Japan sometime this summer.
