Koei Announces New Nobunaga's Ambition Title

Koei has announced Nobunaga's Ambition Kakushin. The strategy game is the newest addition to the company's critically acclaimed series. The game's main theme will be "Change Japan". The development team is implementing a new map feature which will allow players to view a 3D map of Japan. While previous installments also featured maps showing the entire country, they used to be in 2D. On this 3D map, cutscenes related to internal affairs and strategy battles will seamlessly follow each other. Players will also find themselves fighting battles at sea.Among the rival warlords appearing in the game alongside Oda Nobunaga are Katou Kiyomasa, Shimazu Yoshihiro, Maeda Toshiie, Imagawa Yoshimoto and Mouri Motonari. Nobunaga's Ambition Kakushin will be released in Japan sometime in June. The standard version will be available for 10,800 yen ($99.89 US), while the limited edition will cost 12,800 yen ($118.39 US).
