Hori Announces Sakura Taisen 5 PS2 Memory Cards
05.01.05 - 9:12 PM

Hori will release another one of its special PlayStation 2 8MB memory cards in early July. This newest edition will be released alongside Sega's Sakura Taisen V: Saraba Itoshiki Hito yo in Japan and go on sale in two different versions. The standard version will come with the memory card and a DVD case capable of also holding a memory card. The latter will feature a Sakura Taisen V-themed illustration. The package will also include a sticker.

The special edition will come with the memory card and a device that upon being connected to the USB port of a PlayStation 2 will let you listen to the voices of the game's characters, while the game is booting. Ordering either edition at the Sega Direct online store and numerous other retail outlets in Japan, will also net you an original limited edition Sakura Taisen V poster for free.

The memory card sets will be available on July 7th, the same day as Sakura Taisen V: Saraba Itoshiki Hito yo in Japan for 4,980 yen ($47.54 US).
