New Shadow Hearts From The New World Info Released

Aruze has updated the official website of its Nautilus-developed PlayStation 2 RPG Shadow Hearts From The New World. In addition to protagonist Johnny Garland and heroine Shania, three more characters set to appear in the third installment of the popular series have been revealed. Natan is the native American warrior shown in the game's first official trailer which was released alongside the Shadow Hearts II Director's Cut in Japan in March. He rarely speaks, and usually refers to Shania as princess. He wields two pistols and has developed a unique fighting style called Gun Wind. Ricardo Gomes is a 27-year old mariachi. His beloved guitar is stocked with small arms. Currently he is living in Chicago and performs in bars every evening. Like every Latino lover, he has a weakness for women and it is said that the reason why he came to Chicago is the daughter of a powerful mafia boss. 40-year old Rene Curtis is managing Johnny's detective bureau throughout the day and in the evening acts as Johnny's house keeper.

Shadow Hearts From The New World will be released in Japan on July 28th. The game's standard version will be available for 6,980 yen ($66.09 US), while the limited edition Premium Box will cost 11,800 yen ($111.72 US). The latter will ship with a special movie DVD, a soundtrack, a T-shirt featuring an illustration of Johnny, a keyholder looking like Shania's earring, a strap and a special B5-sized notebook.
