Square Enix Announces FFVII: Dirge of Cerberus Genre

An article featured in Japanese publication Shounen JUMP this week finally revealed the genre of Square Enix's PlayStation 2 title Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII. Featuring popular Final Fantasy VII character Vincent Valentine, this third installment of the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII is being described as a gun action RPG in the article. Judging from screenshots, it seems like players will be able to switch between first and third person perspective.Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII will be available in Japan sometime this year. RPGFan will have more information on Dirge of Cerberus and other Square Enix titles directly from the E3 show floor next week.
