Namco has released some new details regarding its PlayStation 2 RPG Tales of Legendia. The game's main villain will be Vaclav Bolud. Already 20 years ago, the 36-year old led his first army into battle. Since the imperial family of the kingdom of Kurzand lacks a male heir to the throne, Vaclav has set his sight on the throne. He is also trying to catch Shirely, the sister of protagonist Senel. Vaclav's three trusted subordinates are Melanie, Stingle and Cashel. The sadistic Melanie loves to inflict pain on her enemies. The masked Stingle who only joined Vaclav five year ago, has established himself as a victorious warrior, but does not get along well with Melanie and Cashel. The latter is an eccentric in charge of special operations including intelligence, destruction and terror-related activities.
On a system-related news, Namco also revealed the newest installment in its popular RPG series will feature several puzzle elements, such as moving around crates in dungeons.
Tales of Legendia will be available in Japan on August 25th for 6,800 yen (US).
