06.11.05 - 1:24 AM

Square Enix has released first details regarding the original soundtrack of its PlayStation 2 action RPG Musashiden II Blademaster (Musashi: Samurai Legend in the US). Published in Japan by VAP, the album will contain 53 tracks including the main theme Samurai Struck, as performed by the Surf Coasters. The two composers behind Musashiden II's music should be well-known to fans of video game music: Masashi Hamauzu and Junya Nakano. The duo that already worked together with Nobuo Uematsu on Final Fantasy X's soundtrack was placed in charge of scoring Musashiden II.

The original soundtrack for Musashiden II Blademaster will be available in Japan on July 21st for 2,900 yen ($26.98 US). The game will go on sale on July 7th for 6,800 yen ($63.26 US).
