Square Enix Announces Own Budget Series

Square Enix today announced a budget series titled Ultimate Hits in Japan. Among the first incarnations of this new series will be re-releases of the following best-selling PlayStation 2 games: Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy X-2, Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix. Complementing these four titles, will be an Ultimate box containing both Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2.The first five incarnations of Square Enix's Ultimate Hits series will be released in Japan on September 8th. While each of the four standard re-releases will be available for 2,800 yen ($25.25 US), the Final Fantasy X/Final Fantasy X-2 Ultimate Box will retail for 5,600 yen ($50.50 US).
