Taito today announced Ys II: Complete Edition for Vodafone Live in Japan. Users of Mega Application and V256K Application Version 2-compatible cellphones can download the game for 400 yen ($3.57 US) per download.While Ys II was originally released by Nihon Falcom in 1988 for the PC-8801, the action RPG's newest version is based on the 2001 Windows release. Taito cooperated with Barnhouse Effect. The Tokyo-based company already has extensive experience with ports of Nihon Falcom's flagship series, as it was responsible for bringing two versions of Ys I to cellphones. Ys II: Complete Edition for Vodafone Live will be available in Japan on July 13th.
