SOE's Station Exchange Officially Launches

Sony Online Entertainment has announced the official launch of their Station Exchange, an auction site for Everquest II items. Players will be given a limited amount of time to transfer to Station Exchange-enabled servers.Sony Online also provided some statistics from their Station Exchange beta. The average price for a platinum piece was $20.41 USD, putting the price of a base mount at around $50 USD. The average price of a purchased character was $65.92. The total amount of in-game money transferred during the test period was just under 118 platinum.
