Banpresto Ups Forecast

Bandai subsidiary Banpresto today raised its forecast for the full fiscal year. Originally the company had projected a net profit of 550 million yen ($4.91 million US) on sales of 16.3 billion yen ($145.52 million US). However due to the successful implementation of a new arcade business strategy and the continued popularity of the PlayStation 2 title 3rd Super Robot Taisen Alpha, the company now expects sales of 18.3 billion yen ($163.38 million US) and a new profit of 980 million yen ($8.75 million US).
