Namco Announces First Quarter Financial Results

Namco today announced its financial results for the first three months of the current fiscal year ending on March 31st 2006. During the period from April 1st to July 31st, the company behind Tales and Xenosaga posted sales of 42.1 billion yen ($375.86 million US). While this translates to an increase of 3.7% compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year, Namco also had to report a loss of 382 million yen ($3.41 million US). The latter was caused by declining sales in the amusement facility division.
