Enterbrain, the developers of the RPG Maker (RPG Tsukuru in Japan) series, have announced the first stateside release of a Windows-based RPG Maker. RPG Maker XP will be available on download.com on September 16, 2005.

Both RPG Maker 3 and RPG Maker XP are developed by Enterbrain, although the PlayStation 2 title is being published by agetec.

RPG Maker XP has yet to be rated. RPG Maker 3 will be released with an "E10+" for "Everyone 10 and Older" rating.
