Princess Soft Announces Rune Princess Details
08.28.05 - 10:29 PM

Princess Soft has recently updated the official website for its upcoming PlayStation 2 adaption of the manga Rune Princess. The company's newest adventure title will take players to the Neo 13 kingdoms located in a world different from ours. To pray for the coming of a hero that brings peace to the world, 12 princesses have confined themselves to a tower. However this very tower with the 12 girls inside is at one point displaced to the city center of modern Tokyo. And so the girls find the man whom they perceive to be their legendary hero in the game's protagonist, high school student Yuusaku Matsudo. As usual for a Princess Soft title, Rune Princess will feature full voice acting.

Rune Princess will be released in Japan sometime in late November. The standard version will retail for 6,800 yen ($61.73 USD), while the limited edition will go on sale for 8,400 yen ($76.25 US). The latter will include a picture label and an original stand POP depicting the heroine Beatrice.
