Seiken Densetsu DS Website Goes Live

Square Enix today opened the official website for its DS title Seiken Densetsu DS: Children of Mana. The game's character designs were drawn by Nao Ikeda who already acted as character designer of Seiken Densetsu: Legend of Mana and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. The game's animation sequences are being created by Production I.G., the studio behind Ghost in the Shell: Innocence.The game's three main characters are 15-year old Flick, 16-year old girl named Tumble who likes dancing and singing, as well as a 9-year old warrior, Pop. Since all three lost their parents and siblings in a fire, they bonded and after living together for some time, ended up becoming like siblings. The game's story takes place on the Island of Ilja which is known as the Holy Island. In the center of the island the Mana Tree is located. Children of Mana will tell the story of the Goddess of Mana, the Legendary Sword and the children assembled around the Mana Tree. Seiken Densetsu DS: Children of Mana will be available in Japan sometime this winter.
