BlizzCon 2005: First WoW Expansion Details

Blizzard Entertainment has announced the first few details of the World of Warcraft expansion, The Burning Crusade. Taking place beyond the Dark Portal in the world of Draenor, players will be able to navigate the broken Orc homeland on epic flying mounts. Players will need the flying mounts to access most of the areas on Draenor.The level cap of World of Warcraft will be expanded to level 70, while Blizzard has dropped a bomb about gear. Players will be able to take up one new tradeskill - jewelcrafting - as much of the equipment in The Burning Crusade is socketed - players will be able to customize it with jewels. Horde players will be able to take up arms as the Blood Elves, while the Alliance race has not yet been announced. Check back to RPGFan all this weekend for updates of BlizzCon 2005.
