tri-Ace Releases Sales Figures

tri-Ace today released sales figures for the seven games the studio has developed since its 1996 debut title, Star Ocean. In addition to the four installments of the Star Ocean series (excluding the Director's Cut of Star Ocean: Till the End of Time), the development studio has also been responsible for the critically acclaimed PlayStation title Valkyrie Profile and this year's popular action RPG Radiata Stories.

Star Ocean, Super Famicom, July 19th 1996 - 235,000 copies (Japan-exclusive).
Star Ocean: The Second Story, PlayStation, July 30th 1998 - 724,000 (Japan), May 31st 1999 - 370,000 (overseas), 1,094,000 copies (total).
Valkyrie Profile, PlayStation, December 22nd 1999 - 636,000 (Japan), August 8th 2000 - 73,000 (overseas), 709,000 copies (total).
Star Ocean: Blue Sphere, Gameboy Color, June 28th 2001 - 130,000 copies (Japan-exclusive)
Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, PlayStation 2, February 27th 2003 - 478,000 (Japan-exclusive).
Star Ocean: Till the End of Time Director's Cut, PlayStation 2, January 22nd 2004 - 164,000 copies (Japan), August 31st, 2004 - 626,000 (overseas), 790,000 (total).
Radiata Stories, PlayStation 2, January 27th 2005 - 294,000 (Japan), September 6th 2005 - 119,000 (overseas), 413,000 copies (total).
