Phantasy Star Universe Dated

Sega today announced the first release details regarding its PlayStation 2 and PC-based RPG title Phantasy Star Universe. The newest installment in the long-running RPG series will be released in Japan in mid-February. Those who pre-order the game will be treated to an artbook and a soundtrack CD.

Those who want to play the game's online mode will need a Sega Link ID. Users can register for this ID free of charge. Those who sign up between November 25th and January 31st will be rewarded with a free in-game item.

Phantasy Star Universe will be available in Japan on February 16th.
