New Japanese Final Fantasy XII Release Details Announced

Square Enix today provided additional details regarding the release of its highly anticipated RPG Final Fantasy XII. The PlayStation 2 title will go on sale in Japan on March 16th for 8,562 yen ($71.87 USD). The company also announced a cooperation with Japanese brewery Suntory. The Osaka-based company will produce and sell a herb-flavored beverage called Potion after the Final Fantasy series' standard healing item. In addition to the stand alone beverage, Suntory will also sell a Potion Premium Box containing a premium bottle as well as a Final Fantasy XII Art Museum trading card. The beverage is scheduled to go on sale in Japan in March 2006.
