Producer Talks Seiken Densetsu 4

Seiken Densetsu mastermind Kouichi Ishii has granted interviews to several Japanese publications to talk about his current project Seiken Densetsu 4. Ishii mentioned that the Havoc physics engine has allowed his team to create a three-dimensional Seiken Densetsu. Looking ahead he hoped that his staff will be able to absorb the knowledge gained from developing Seiken Densetsu 4 and increase their sense for what can be done with the powerful physics engine. While at first he thought it would be difficult to develop the game for PlayStation 2, testing quickly showed that it could be done. For the next generation, he didn't want to build everything from scratch, but rather foster technological and planning strength on PlayStation 2. Ishii also mentioned that he already has several ideas about what he would like to do with the next generation of hardware.

Seiken Densetsu 4 will be available in Japan sometime next year.
