Spectral Force 3 Details Announced
01.22.06 - 1:59 AM

Idea Factory has opened the official website for its first Xbox 360 title Spectral Force 3: Innocent Rage. During the Great Demon War, a group of mercenaries lacking allegiance to any race or country appears. As the war intensifies, the mercenaries begin to expand their idea of what it means to exist. The game's protgonist is named Begina. The 18-year old yields from a farming family and was raised without experiencing poverty. After the war begins, Begina becomes a member of the mercenaries. The female lead Unis is a former prieststress. As the war intensifies, the 19-year old embarks on a journey to help people with her healing magic. Diaz is a childhood friend of Begina. As Begina leaves the village to become a mercenary, Diaz joins him. The mercenaries' leader is Dragan. Since demon blood circulates in his veins, he often became the target of bullying and persecution in his village. He holds the mercenaries' leader in high esteem. He aims to gain fame during the war, so he can protect people dear to him and triumph over the villagers who discriminated against him. The son of a noble family, Cassius lost his land and property in the chaos of the war, before becoming a mercenary. He only survived thanks to the leader of mercenaries. A skilled fighter, he tries to regain what he has lost. In total, the game will feature more than 150 characters.

While details regarding the battle system have yet to be announced, the strategy battles will feature burst attacks, combination attacks and battle formations.

Those who pre-order the game will be treated to a figure of a yet to be announced character.
Spectral Force 3: Innocent Rage will be available in Japan sometime in April for 6,800 yen ($58.92 US).
