Kouichi Sugiyama Confirms More Dragon Quest Games
01.30.06 - 6:45 PM

At his New Year's concert in Tokyo, Dragon Quest series composer Kouichi Sugiyama has hinted at more Dragon Quest games being in Square Enix's pipeline. Without going into specifics, the composer confirmed that after the April release of Dragon Quest Shounen Yangus to Fushigi no Dungeon, more Dragon Quest-related games would be forthcoming.

The two hour concert featured the performance of 24 songs Sugiyama had composed for Dragon Quest VIII. As far as future Dragon Quest concerts are concerned, the next one will again be held in Tokyo on February 22nd, with two more concerts being scheduled for April (in Touyama) and August (in Fukuoka).
