04.06.06 - 4:54 PM

At today's Xbox 360 press conference in Tokyo, Hironobu Sakaguchi revelaed that his second project for the platform, the RPG title Lost Odyssey, will only be released in 2007. After Lost Odyssey, he will focus on the action-RPG Cry On, which is developed by Cavia. Sakaguchi is serving as the game's co-producer.

Currently, the Mistwalker president is busy working on Blue Dragon, which is scheduled to arrive in Japan in late 2006. According to Sakaguchi, the game is already up and running on the hardware in playable form. Battle and event scenes have also already been connected with each other. In the months ahead the direction of the event scenes and the game's balance will be at the center of the development efforts.
