Fushigi no Dungeon Mobile Trial Version Available

Starting today, Square Enix is offering a free trial version of its cellphone RPG Dragon Quest Fushigi no Dungeon Mobile. As always with Square Enix's cellphone games, fans will need a FOMA 90xi series cellphone from NTT DoCoMo to download the trial version. Dragon Quest Fushigi no Dungeon Mobile is not a mere port of the PlayStation 2 release, but rather a completely remade game for the mobile platform. Just like its console-based cousins, the game will boast the series trademark randomly generated dungeons. In addition to well-known monsters from the main Dragon Quest series, Yangus, the protagonist of the upcoming Dragon Quest Shounen Yangus to Fushigi no Dungeon for PlayStation 2, will appear as a playable character. The game's final release will also feature a network component. Dragon Quest Fushigi no Dungeon Mobile will be available in Japan sometime this summer.
