Oblivion Shipments Reach 1.7 Million Units

Bethesda Softworks today announced that the company has shipped 1.7 million units of its next-generation RPG The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Thereby the game, which is available for PC and Xbox 360, has become the fastest selling title for Microsoft's next-generation console to date. Furthermore, it accounted for 13% of all Windows games sold during the first week following its March 20th release.
