04.13.06 - 12:58 PM

NCSoft and Arenanet have announced the launch of Auto Assault, their car-combat MMORPG that features use of the Havok physics engine. While the game shipped to retail yesterday, today marks the launch of the game's live servers.

"Auto Assault is a truly unique game, and a fantastic addition to our catalog," said Robert Garriott, CEO of NCsoft North America. "There is nothing like it in the MMO game space it is easy to play, fast, and very fun. Auto Assault gives players the best of action games, the best of role-playing games and a super-cool world to discover and destroy."

Auto Assault is available in both a regular edition for an MSRP of $49.99 USD and a limited edition that includes a headseat for the game's built-in voice chat feature for an MSRP of $59.99 USD
