E3 2006: Draenei to be New WoW Alliance Race

Blizzard Entertainment has announced that the newest race in their expansion, World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade will be the Draenei. Jeff Kaplan, a designer for Blizzard, told The New York Times that, "Lots of players have wanted to play demons, and Draenei are the closest you can get to looking like an Eredar[, a demon from the Warcraft universe]."On the E3 show floor, videos showed both the Horde's Blood Elves bowing down before thrall and a Draenai warrior bowing before King Magni. It also appears that the Draenai will be able to be Paladins, as gameplay showed them in paladin-styled plate armor. World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade will be available in the fourth quarter of 2005.
