E3 2006: 2K Games Sieges Portable Dungeons
05.12.06 - 4:49 PM

2K Games was showing off Supervillian Studios' Dungeon Siege: Throne of Agony for the PSP. A sidestory title of Gas Powered Games' Dungeon Siege series, it's slated for release in fall of 2006.

Throne of Agony will feature the follower system from the PC Dungeon Siege titles, but it's been slimmed down to one at a time for the portable release. Although you can only have one with you at any one time, you'll have several to choose from when romping through the dungeons. Players will have up to six abilities at a time - X is the standard attack while the other face buttons work as special abilities, which have alternate uses when holding the R button.

There will be both versus and co-op multiplayer with one other PSP owner via ad-hoc networking with the PSP. The attribute and ability system is carried over from the PC games, but some of it has been revamped for the PSP because of the lack of buttons and UI.

Dungeon Siege: Throne of Agony will be published by 2K Games this fall.
