Sweets Announces Special Gift for PS2 Owners
06.29.06 - 7:52 PM

Sweets will bring Moonstone's popular PC-based love adventure Gift to PlayStation 2 later this year. Following the game's May 2005 release, Gift-based mangas, novels and audio CDs have been released in Japan, with an anime series to debut on Japanese TV this fall.

Compared to the original PC release, the PlayStation 2 version will feature three additional heroines, new sub-character illustrations and a revised scenario. The team at Sweets is also implementing a new opening sequence and recording new opening and ending themes. Furthermore, new popular voice actors and actresses have been hired to lend their voices to Gift's cast.

Gift: Prism for PlayStation 2 will be released in Japan on October 19th. The game's standard version will be available for 6,800 yen ($58.48 US), while the limited edition will cost 8,800 yen ($75.68 US). The latter will ship with a drama CD and an illustration card book.
