Marvelous Announces Anime-Based PS2 Title

Marvelous Interactive is working on a PlayStation 2 adaption of the popular anime Simoun. Tentatively titled Simoun, the game will combine adventure and strategy elements. The anime takes its viewers to a distant planet where humans are born exclusively as females. After they turn 17, they head for a fountain, where their gender is determined, before they become adults. The series' protagonists who man a small aerial battle ship by the name of Simoun, have remained girls, because their mission as soldiers prevents them from heading for the fountain in times of war.
