Konami to Re-release Ys VI PSP

Konami announced plans to release a special edition of Ys: Ark of Naphistim for PlayStation Portable in Japan early next year. The game however won't be just a re-release, but instead feature several additions: A character database and a media player which allows for playback of BGM sounds, CG sequences and bonus movies. Furthermore, Konami is adding a map event known as Sealed Cave. Inside the cave nine minigames are waiting to be completed. The development team has also included various modes, such as time trial. In this trial mode, players have to play through the mini games as quickly as possible. Fast players will be rewarded with special items.Ys: Ark of Naphistim - Special Edition for PlayStation Portable will be available in Japan on February 1st, 2007 for 4,980 yen ($42.13 US).
