Game Symphony Concerts Headed for Asia Pacific, Oceania
11.01.06 - 4:27 PM

The Eminence Group today announced a series of game and anime-themed symphony concerts scheduled to take place in Australia and Singapore. Audiences in Sydney, Melbourne and Singapore will get to enjoy arrangements of themes from classic titles, such as Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Vagrant Story, Final Fantasy XII, Xenosaga, and .hack. Titled Passion, the series of concerts will not be performed by a big orchestra, but rather by a small ensemble consisting of violins, percussion, guitar and piano. Chrono series composer Yasunori Mitsuda will be performing with the ensemble. Another special guest will be Final Fantasy XII composer Hitoshi Sakimoto, who is set to attend the event in Sydney.

The Melbourne show will take place at the Merlyn Theatre on December 9th, while the concert in Sydney's Verbrugghen Hall is scheduled for December 16th. The concert in Singapore will follow on December 23rd. It will take place in the city's Victoria Concert Hall.
