First Mana Khemia Details Revealed
02.18.07 - 11:17 PM

Famitsuu has revealed some more details regarding Gust's upcoming PlayStation 2 title Mana - Khemia - Gakuen no Renkinjutsushitachi. The game's protagonist Vayne is a student at the Arlebis school of alchemy. Thanks to this setting, players can look forward to homework and exams, but also love, friendship, and adventures. Fans of the Atelier series will feel right at home, as Mana - Khemia will also feature Gust's trademark item synthesis system. As always, the items required for said synthesis can be found in the game's dungeons. Additionally, players will have to venture into the game's various dungeons to complete certain school-related tasks. A key aspect of Mana - Khemia's battle system are combination attacks, which will require the player to carefully time the turns of party members.

Mana - Khemia - Gakuen no Renkinjutsushitachi will be available in Japan sometime this May. The standard version will go on sale for 6,800 yen ($56.97 US), whereas the limited edition will retail for 9,800 yen ($82.10 US).
