Final Fantasy PSP Pre-Orders Exceed 100,000 in Japan
04.06.07 - 9:39 PM

According to Japanese retail sources, pre-orders for the PlayStation Portable remake of Final Fantasy have passed the 100,000 mark. The figure is sure to please Square Enix, as the company had previously stated that it would consider selling 150,000 copies of the game (in Japan) a success. With almost two weeks remaining until the game's release, it looks like this 20th anniversary edition of the 1987 Famicom classic will more than live up to its publisher's expectations commercially.

Final Fantasy for PlayStation Portable will be available in Japan on April 19th for 4,800 yen ($40.44 US).
