Aquaplus Bring Tears to Tiara to PS3
07.16.07 - 12:56 AM

The makers of To Heart, Aquaplus will be bringing Tears to Tiara to PlayStation 3. Originally released for the PC platform on April 28th 2005, the console version of the strategy RPG will carry the title Tears to Tiara: Kakan no Daichi. The game takes place in a fantasy world of swords and magic inhabited by humans, elves and demons. The game's protagonist is the Demon King Arawn. For more than a millennium he had been sealed away. At first glance he just looks like an evil kid, but his powers by far exceed those of human beings. As a result of his 1,000-year long sleep however, Arawn can't use those powers right away. Riannon is a shrine maiden who was set to be sacrificed at a ceremony celebrating Arawn's revival. Before being sacrificed, she is rescued by her older brother. Afterwards, she becomes emotionally attached to Arawn and joins him on his journey.

Thankfully the PlayStation 3 version of Tears to Tiara will be more than a simple port, as Aquaplus is remaking CG sequences, systems and scenario for the console release.

Tears to Tiara: Kakan no Daichi for PlayStation 3 will be available in Japan later this year.
