New White Knight Story Details Announced

At today's PlayStation Premiere event, Level 5 showed off its PlayStation 3 RPG Shirokishi Monogatari (White Knight Story) for the first time since last year's Tokyo Game Show. Level 5 president Akihiro Hino not only demonstrated a new trailer, but also played the game himself to reveal a previously undisclosed feature. The game will allow for players to create a virtual alter ego of themselves. This character can then be added to the player's party. This "character making" feature will offer a great amount of customization and in fact has been used by the development team to create the protagonist and the approximately 1,000 NPCs.Famitsuu described White Knight Story's battle system as being similar to Rogue Galaxy's (with the notable exception of the White Knight transformation feature of course). Japanese fans can look forward to a playable demo of the game at September's Tokyo Game Show 2007. Shirokishi Monogatari has yet to receive an official release date.
