Level 5 Talks White Knight Story

Level 5 president Akihiro Hino has sat down with Famitsuu to talk about his company's highly anticipated PlayStation 3 debut, Shirokishi Monogatari (White Knight Story). The game's story will center around the relationship between the protagonist and the princess. Early in the game, the protagonist comes to the princess' rescue and from there on they begin to develop a close relationship. One scene apparently will show the couple dancing together in a forest. Apart from the relationship between the two main characters, the story will also shed some light on the huge knights, explaining why they exist and what kind of influence they exert on their world.As for gameplay, Level 5 aims to make it as accessible as possible. The game's control scheme during battles apparently only makes use of the circle button (and we suppose, the SIXAXIS' analogue stick). Furthermore, Hino confirmed that the segment shown in the recently released second promotional trailer will indeed be playable during Tokyo Game Show in September. Shirokishi Monogatari has yet to receive an official release date in Japan.
