TGS: Tower of Druaga MMORPG in the Works

At Tokyo Game Show GDH announced a new MMORPG based on Bandai Namco Games' classic The Tower of Druaga series. Titled Tower of Druaga: The Recovery of Babylim, this PC-based game is developed by Q Entertainment. Gonzo Rosso will be in charge of publishing the game in Japan. Q Entertainment producer Hirokazu Kojima singled out the following three key features of the project: First, being able to revive the towns and dungeons of such a classic title, second, the solving of riddles together with fellow party members (this system is known as Enigma System) and third, the synergy effects of developing the MMORPG simultanously with an anime series, titled Tower of Druaga: The Aegis of Uruk.

Tower of Druaga: The Recovery of Babylim will be available in Japan in January 2008. One month prior to the commercial release, the three companies plan to conduct an open beta testing phase.
