AQ Interactive Announces Duo of DS Games

AQ Interactive today announced two high profile DS projects, Blue Dragon DS and AWAY: Tsuresareta Hitobito. As the title suggests, the former will be related to Microsoft's Xbox 360 RPG Blue Dragon. The new game will inherit its setting from the original Blue Dragon. Like the original next generation release, the DS title is produced by Hironobu Sakaguchi's Mistwalker. Development is handled by Feel Plus, the developers of the upcoming Xbox 360 RPG Lost Odyssey.Blue Dragon DS will be available in Japan sometime in March 2008 for 5,980 yen ($51.85 US). AWAY: Tsuresareta Hitobito is an RPG being developed by Artoon, which has already worked on Blue Dragon together with Sakaguchi. The Mistwalker president has written the scenario for AWAY. The soundtrack is composed by Nobuo Uematsu. Artoon president Ooshima is serving as the game's character designer. AWAY: Tsuresareta Hitobito will be released in Japan on January 31st 2008 for 5,980 yen ($51.85 US).
