In today's addition to the roundtable discussion on Eastern Vs. Western RPGs, I (Patrick) make the bold claim that Western RPGs have been largely stagnant in terms of innovation, whereas the Eastern (Japanese) RPGs have made some strides toward something bigger and better. Does anyone agree with me? Is my point even remotely valid?
