Ys I and II DS Details Annnounced
11.07.07 - 10:18 AM

Interchannel Holon has shed some light on its upcoming DS remakes of Ys I and II. The newest versions of Nihon Falcom's two classic action RPG titles are set to feature new battle animations and four different difficulty settings. Another new feature is the addition of an online mode supporting up to four players. By defeating enemies, players will obtain orbs. The goal is to collect more orbs than one's competitors. Last but not least, after one play-through, the player will gain access to the following two options: A mode that lets him or her take on all the bosses in the game, as well as a BGM playback option.

Ys I DS and Ys II DS will be available in Japan sometime in spring 2008, each carrying a price tag of 4,800 yen ($41.90 USD).
