Phantasy Star Goes PSP

Sega today announced Phantasy Star Portable (PSP) for PlayStation Portable. The game is developed by the handheld gaming specialists at Alfa System (whose recent track record includes Tales of Innocence for DS and Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology for PSP). While it is based on Phantasy Star Universe, it will also include elements from the Phantasy Star Universe expansion Ambition of the Illuminus as well as an entirely new story. Furthermore, a multiplayer mode supporting up to four players is being implemented.

Phantasy Star Portable will be available in Japan sometime next year.
