New Senjou no Valkyria Details Announced

One of the few original RPGs announced for PlayStation 3 thus far is Sega's Senjou no Valkyria. Developed by the creative minds behind Sakura Taisen, the game is an attempt to fuse strategy and action elements. One key element that allows protagonist Welkin and his platoon to remain competitive in the Second European War scenario is the weapons development facility. There, players can use the money they have obtained to develop various weapons. However, powerful high-level weaponry will obviously require more than just money to build. Furthermore, the facility allows Welkin and Co. to enhance their tank. Various parts of the vehicle, such as the chassis, can be leveled up and thereby strengthened at the facility.Senjou no Valkyria will be available in Japan sometime this spring.
