Super Robot Taisen A Announced for PSP
01.30.08 - 2:50 PM

Two weeks ago Super Robot Taisen producer Takanobu Terada kindly informed the gaming public that his team was working on two Super Robot Taisen games, a remake and an entirely new installment. He promised, the former would be announced shortly, and indeed Banpresto released an initial batch of information today.

Titled Super Robot Taisen A Portable, the game is a PlayStation Portable-based remake of 2001's Super Robot Taisen A for GameBoy Advance. The remake will feature enhanced visuals, full voice acting for all characters in battle and various system-related improvements (addition of skill parts and a trust-related parameter). In addition to original Banpresto-created mechs, robots from 21 anime series are set to make an appearance in the game. The game is currently 65% complete.

Super Robot Taisen A Portable will be available in Japan on June 19th.
