PSP Review: Patapon
04.21.08 - 4:54 PM

Patapon comes from the same developers who did LocoRoco. You know, rhythm-based games. So what are we doing, reviewing one of them?

Well, after some serious consideration, we've determined there are enough RPG elements here to talk about it. All of the combat takes place in a turn-based system, and your troops do become stronger as you advance through the game. It's a stretch, we know, but no one else in the wide world of gaming knows how to classify it. So, like the equally unclassify-able Shenmue, we're covering this game.

John Tucker has written the thorough review. Will you be pata-pata-pon-ing your way through this game on your PSP? Maybe our review will convince you, one way or the other.
