Soundtracks Update: Aveyond, Soma Bringer, More!

We have a great update in the soundtracks department today. Check this out:

Neal Chandran has an advanced release copy of "From Another Shore: Aveyond & Beyond," released by Aaron Walz. You'll remember Aveyond and Aveyond 2 from Amaranth games. These are independent PC RPGs, and we have reviews of these games (also from Neal). Composer Aaron Walz has been doing work for independent PC developers for awhile, so Walz included music from a number of other games as well, though Aveyond is still the star of the show on this soundtrack. You'll definitely want to check this one out!

Next, reader Ben Schweitzer has submitted a review for the three disc OST fo the DS game Soma Bringer, composed by Yasunori Mitsuda. According to Schweitzer, this may be the big come-back from Mitsuda we've all anxiously awaited.

Finally, we have some PlayStation 2 RPG soundtracks that you've probably never heard of, though it's about time you do. Dragon Shadow Spell and Elvandia Story are the two games in question. They've not seen American releases, but that ought not stop you from enjoying these excellent soundtracks.
