Tidus, Jecht Set to Appear in Dissidia: Final Fantasy

The newest issue of Shounen JUMP magazine revealed that Final Fantasy X protagonist Tidus and his father Jecht will be part of Dissidia: Final Fantasy's growing cast. Apart from Tidus and Jecht, the Warrior of Light, Garland (from Final Fantasy I), Frioniel, the Emperor (both from Final Fantasy II), Final Fantasy VII's Sephiroth, Squall, Ultimecia (both from Final Fantasy VIII) as well as Final Fantasy IX's Zidane and Kuja have already been confirmed to appear in the PlayStation Portable-based fighting game.Dissidia: Final Fantasy has yet to receive an official release date. Fans will be able to get a closer look at the title in early August, though, as Square Enix will show off the game during its recently announced DK Sigma 3713 Private Party in Tokyo.
