Flagship Studios Closes Its Doors

A source has revealed that developer Flagship Studios will be closing its doors effective immediately. Flagship Studios, which included former members of the Starcraft and Diablo development teams, rose to popularity in 2007 with the release of Hellgate: London. Prior to its closure, the developer was working on Mythos, an online RPG based on the Hellgate multiplayer engine. Although Mythos publisher Ping0 is also closing its doors, the RPG will continue development under Korean publisher Hanbitsoft, which has acquired the intellectual property rights.
