Retro Graphic Adventures: "Myst" Coverage
07.15.08 - 6:41 PM

Two months ago, a small-scale developer coupled with a small-scale publisher released Myst on the Nintendo DS. It was the worst port of the game to date.

This made me, an avid Myst fan, move into action. Today, we have reviews for the original Myst, released 15 years ago, and the DS port of said game as well. To top it off, we also have Riven: The Sequel to Myst (released in 1997) covered.

Two PC games, and one DS game. What are the odds that the DS game is the worst of the three? In this case, all bets are off: you want to go with the originals. The DS port is awful. If you like reading reviews that trash a game, you'll definitely enjoy the DS review. If you're aching for some nostalgia, read the other two reviews as well.
