Kefka Set to Appear in Dissidia
08.03.08 - 1:11 AM

Square Enix showed off trailer movies for a dozen games at today's DK Sigma 3713 Private Party 2008. Among those movies happened to be new footage of Dissidia: Final Fantasy. This new footage confirmed the appearance of Final Fantasy VI's popular villain Kefka in the PlayStation Portable-based fighting game. Furthermore, fans got a first glimpse of Final Fantasy VII's Sephiroth in (in-game) action, as opposed to only being treated to his CG alter ego. Another first was a glimpse at what looks to be the game's progression system. Famitsuu speculates, players will be able to select their route on this chessboard-like map in order to proceed in the game.

Dissidia: Final Fantasy will be available in Japan in December.
